The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) was formed by the Georgetown Agreement of 1975. It is an agreement between 79 nations that bind them to the European Union (EU) for purpose of economic development as well as peace and stability. The ACP is now the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.
