Anton Webern: A Guide to Primary and Secondary Resources at the Library of Congress

An influential composer of the 20th century, Anton Webern (1883-1945) is well represented in the print, manuscript, and digital collections of the Library’s Music Division.

The Performing Arts Reading Room provides access to the Music Division's primary and secondary resources related to the composer Anton Webern (1883-1945). These materials include music manuscripts, facsimiles, first and early editions of music scores, scholarly literature on Webern, correspondence, special collections, iconography, and access to a variety of subscription databases.

Several of the Library's databases are available off-site, but many may only be accessed on-site at the Library or via your local public or academic library.
