Architecture, Design and Engineering Collections in the Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division

Photographer Archives

Professional photographers and photography firms offer a deep and wide range of work, often including original large-format negatives, transparencies, and digital files. These archives are shaped by the influence of the photographers’ clients and the interests of general customers as well as by their special skill in portraying building exteriors and interiors.

Each collection is briefly described below. Primary links display fuller bibliographic information about the collection in the Prints and Photographs Online Catalog if available.
