The bulk of the material from Scotland copied by the Foreign Copying Program consists of materials reproduced from the National Library of Scotland. The collection also includes materials duplicated from the Scottish Record Office (now the National Register of Archives), the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, and Dalkeith House. The reproductions focus on trade, military affairs during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, and voyages and trips by Scots to the Western Hemisphere.
