The records included in this section are from agencies primarily concerned with banking, trade, commerce, labor, and related activity. Most are United States government, but there are a few relate to international organizations. Official records of the United States government are in the custody of the National Archives and Records Administration and some papers from various government agencies can be held at other institutions.

This section lists the papers of those individuals that worked - usually at a very high level - for government agencies. These agencies were typically: the Department of Treasury, Office of Management and Budget (Bureau of the Budget), Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Commerce, Federal Reserve and similar agencies. We have also included a few key congressional representatives and selected officials from other agencies if it was a appropriate.
