Business and Economics E-Resources

The goal of the guide is to provide guidance to electronic resources the Library of Congress subscribes to as well as freely available e-resources selected by subject specialists for business and economics research.

Introduction

This guide lists electronic resources that are available from the Library of Congress, both subscription and free access, for business and economics research. You will find full text of articles from academic and trade journals, market research reports, corporate reports, archival material, e-books, and more for researching a wide range of business and economics topics. The guide pages are organized by subject areas or resource types. Some of the pages include related research guides created by subject specialists that offer e-resource recommendations for researching the subject of the guide.

The full list of databases the Library subscribes to and those free resources recommended by subject experts is available from A-Z Databases list that can be searched by subject, type, and database vendor. Please Ask a Librarian if you need assistance with identifying the right e-resource for your research needs.

The subscription resources marked with a padlock (available on-site) are available to researchers on-site at the Library of Congress. If you are unable to visit the Library, you may be able to access these resources through your local public or academic library.

About the Business Section

Part of the Science & Business Reading Room at the Library of Congress, the Business Section is the starting point for conducting research at the Library of Congress in the subject areas of business and economics. Here, reference specialists in specific subject areas of business assist patrons in formulating search strategies and gaining access to the information and materials contained in the Library's rich collections of business and economics materials.
