The Census Bureau administers numerous surveys and programs besides decennial and economic censuses. Among the special censuses are the Census of Agriculture done by the Census Bureau until 1997, currently administered by the Department of Agriculture, and Census of Governments done every five years since 1957. This section provides references to current data sources as well as historical publications that provide agricultural and government data.
