Octaviano Larrazolo is the Democratic candidate for the New Mexico territory to Congress. He loses the election.
1906
Larrazolo makes a second attempt as Democratic candidate to Congress and does not win.
November 3, 1908
Voting is underway as Larrazolo makes his third attempt as the Democratic candidate to Congress against W. H. Andrews.
February 25, 1909
By a unanimous vote of the House, W. H. Andrews is elected delegate to congress from New Mexico over Larrazolo.
January 1, 1919
After switching to the Republican party, Octaviano Larrazolo becomes New Mexico’s fourth governor.
January 1, 1921
Larrazolo completes his term as New Mexico's governor and on his final day, pardons seventeen individuals.
1928
Larrazolo becomes the first Mexican-American to serve in the U.S. Senate.
