Concerts from the Library of Congress: Pick of the Week

Month of May 2020

Picks of the Week for the month of May included a series of chamber music concerts, a series of lectures and programs from the "Music and the Brain" series, and a spectacular concert featuring composer, bassist and vocalist Esperanza Spalding and a conversation with GRAMMY award-winning vocalist Dianne Reeves

More About the Music and the Brain Series

The Library's Music and the Brain events offer lectures, conversations and symposia about the explosion of new research at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience and music. Project chair Kay Redfield Jamison convenes scientists and scholars, composers, performers, theorists, physicians, psychologists, and other experts at the Library for a compelling 2-year series, with generous support from the Dana Foundation.
