Corporate Annual Reports at the Library of Congress

Annual reports provide a window into how a company presents itself to its investors and the public and describe corporate performance at a particular point in time. This guide presents indexes for the vast collection of these reports at the Library.

Corporate annual reports are an important research tool, providing a window into how a company presents itself to its investors and the public and explains its corporate performance at a particular point in time. They allow the researcher to analyze a company's performance in light of its corporate strategies and to compare its performance to that of its competition. Reporting requirements vary by country but such reports typically contain information on financial highlights, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, new business; projections, outstanding shares of stock and information on Board Members.

This guide includes inventories identifying corporate annual reports available for use at the Library of Congress as well as additional subscription databases and other sources for corporate annual reports. Please note that none of the microfiche sets include all annual reports for all companies.

These sets are not digitized, so if you need any of these annual reports contact Duplication Services for a quote and include the title and the link to this web page in your request, along with the title of the appropriate collection (e.g. Corporate Annual Reports on Microfiche, 1975-1983), as well as the name of the company and the year(s) of the reports desired.
