Online version of the Europa World Year Book (published since 1975). Europa World is a compendium of information on countries and international organizations, much of it in the form of statistical data and governmental and organization directories. Each country entry includes a map and flag, an overall profile, statistics (area, population, economy, industry, finance, trade, transport, communications media, education), and directories of government, politics, society and media, and business and commerce. Organizations includes government agencies, media outlets, businesses, and non-governmental organizations. The database is updated throughout the year, including the daily updating of Recent News on the home page.

Online multilingual database containing large time-series and cross sectional data relating to hunger, food and agriculture for 245 countries and territories and 35 regional areas, from 1961 to the most recent year. Included are over one million time-series records covering international statistics in the following areas: production, trade, food balance sheets, fertilizer and pesticides, land use and irrigation, forest products, fishery products, population, agricultural machinery, food aid shipments. The United Nations Commodity Statistics Trade Database provides data for over 140 reporting countries, in some cases, spanning the last 40 years. The database is the UN official source for imports, exports and re-exports, for 90% of world trade. Users can select countries, products, years and measurements (values are in US dollars and quantities in net weight). Commodities are arranged by both Harmonized System (HS) and Standard International Trade Classification (SITC). Also includes textual information on countries and customs areas. Finance indicators include external debt stocks and flows, major economic aggregates, and key debt ratios as well as average terms of new commitments, currency composition of long-term debt, debt restructuring, and scheduled debt service projections. Business data covers 183 economies and ranks countries on 10 sets of indicators on the ease of doing business. Also tracks external debt data and selected foreign assets from international creditor/market and national debtor sources. Data can be used to monitor development programs and aid flows in regions, as well as to track economic and social developments occurring in particular areas of the world. Many data indicators are also translated into French, Spanish and Arabic.
