Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals

The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit is based in the James R. Browning U.S. Courthouse in San Francisco, California. This court provides appellate review of cases tried in the United States District Courts within the geographic area of its jurisdiction, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
