The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit is based in lower Manhattan in the Thurgood Marshall U.S. Courthouse in New York, New York. This court provides appellate review of cases tried in the United States District Courts within the geographic area of its jurisdiction, which includes Connecticut, New York, and Vermont.
