This guide covers selected resources on the history of money. This guide is not intended to be a comprehensive resource for numismatics research, though the resources that have been included will be a good start for those interested in that area.  This guide was created for those with an interest in money from an economic and policy perspective.

This guide covers the United States specifically and does not go in depth on the money from other countries.  Included are introductory and general online and print resources along with links to relevant subject searches within the Library of Congress online catalog.
