Hungarian American Voices - Hangunk

Books for Children and Youth

Although the Library of Congress does not focus on collecting children's books, it does have in its collections books written about childhood in Hungary for the American audience; text books written for children of various ages about Hungary and/or Hungarian Americans; stories of Hungarian children who immigrated to America; and stories about famous Hungarian Americans written for youth. These books can be of interest for those who are generally interested in children's books, foreign literature, or Hungarians who are raising their children in America and would like them to learn more about their heritage.
