You can also look for more information about a title of interest, and perhaps discover if further issues were published, whether there are supplements for certain years, whether it changed name or frequency, and similar questions. Online catalogs are the most easily accessible sources for current information. For Hungary, the most comprehensive source for current periodicals is Magyar nemzeti bibliográfia új periodikumok, a quarterly online journal that contains bibliographic records of newly launched periodicals and periodicals that underwent title changes, that are published in Hungary, and were received or purchased by the National Széchény Library.

"The bibliographies and surveys of the daily and periodical press of Hungary prepared by libraries, publishing companies and book-shops are not comprehensive. ... The state agency for the distribution of press material, (the Central Press Bureau of the Post-Office), keeps on its files, as shown by its most recent list no. 401, only 165 weeklies and magazines, whereas there are actually at least 421 papers of various kinds in current publication.
This is the first Hungarian Press Guide to include what is believed to be a complete list of official gazettes, provincial dailies, factory weeklies, the foreign language press of Hungary and the Hungarian press of Hungarians in neighbouring states."

This bibliography does not include publications from series, events, conferences and exhibitions - these items are included in the Hungarian National Bibliography.
Magyar Sajtóbibliográfia 1705-1849 External. (Hungarian Union List 1705-1849) Based on the collection of the former newspaper section of the Hungarian National Library, which has had the most complete periodical collection in Hungary. All titles were recorded by checking the physical copies. Apart from information about each paper, and indexes, it also lists all the issues held by various Hungarian libraries.
