This collection consists of 4,500 photographs documenting natural environments, ecologies, and plant communities in the United States at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries. Included in the collection are more than five hundred images of Indiana.
Published continuously since 1905, the Indiana Magazine of History is one of the nation's oldest historical journals. Since 1913, the IMH has been edited and published quarterly at Indiana University, Bloomington.

The fundamental purpose of the NPS is to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations. The NPS provides highlights, statistics, and a list of national parks for Indiana.
