This guide is intended to provide resources for international business research. Included in the guide are resources for global company and industry data and statistics, periodicals, databases and guidance to finding more resources in the LC collections using the online catalog. The Country Information section offers resources for learning about economic conditions, economic, political and social history of countries of the world which would be important for those studying the subject of international business or looking into doing business overseas. The guide includes extensive lists of print and online resources for researching global companies and industries as well as sources for economic, financial, industrial, and other statistical data relevant to the subject of international business. We have included subscription databases that offer a wealth of information on the subject, but they are only available to onsite patrons. We recommend that you check with your local public or university libraries about availability of those databases.
