Notes: Forum Italicum is a peer-reviewed international journal of Italian Studies based at Stony Brook University, NY, USA. It was founded by Michael Ricciardelli in 1967 at the Florida State University Florida, then it transferred to SUNY at Buffalo, NY; the University of Texas at Austine; and finally to Stony Brook University. ANVUR (Agenzia Nazionale di Valutazione del Sistema Universitario e della Ricerca) awarded Forum Italicum its highest ranking "Classe A" in the areas of Italian literature, critical theory, and comparative literature. The members of an international editorial board contribute to the periodical among whom major Italianists and scholars from the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, and other countries, such as Zygmunt G.
