Notes: Il Risorgimento Italiano nel Maryland e District Columbia was a weekly newspaper published in Baltimore. It was inspired by the Italian Risorgimento movement leading to Italy's unification in the nineteenth century. It was published by the Italian Revival Company headed by Vincent Ambrose and edited by Camillo Baucia (1863–1943), originally from Piedmont, Italy. It served the lively Italian community in Baltimore actively engaged in local and national politics. Baucia became involved with recurring events like the Columbus Day festivities in Baltimore and the Dante National Association.
