Notes: The United Mine Workers Journal was published weekly and semimonthly. It was affiliated with the United Mine Workers' Union. Joseph Poggiani was the first editor of the Italian section, and many Italian workers wrote to the paper when it was under his leadership. In 1918 Poggiani was dismissed and the paper stopped printing contributions from Italian workers. The journal stopped printing the Italian section in 1933.
