Jewish Composers: Resources in the Library of Congress Music Division

Correspondence

The Music Division holds primary source correspondence of and to Jewish composers active in the 19th through 20th centuries. These items are found throughout the Music Division's holdings, including individually cataloged items under call numbers that begin with ML95 (Manuscript textual works) and within endowed collections such as the Heineman Foundation Collection. Additional primary source correspondence may be located by searching within finding aids for special collections. These descriptive documents often contain name-level description of correspondents by box and folder numbers.

Selected items of manuscript correspondence link to fuller bibliographic information in the Library of Congress Online Catalog. Links to additional online content are included when available.
