Jewish Composers: Resources in the Library of Congress Music Division

Anthologies and Collected Works

Anthologies of musical scores are a great way to experience a variety of repertoire in addition to individual works. Some collections are for particular instrumentation with works by many composers. Other anthologies contain complete works by single composers. Music anthologies also bring together multiple composers who share a stylistic time period. In some cases, anthologies include previously unpublished works by underrepresented composers. Anthologies, like single composition titles, have call numbers that begin with M (Music).

The following titles link to fuller bibliographic information in the Library of Congress Online Catalog, and can be used in the Performing Arts Reading Room. You can also search for them in your local institution's holdings or request inter-library loans.
