Materials in the Prints & Photographs Division

A small number of photographs by Korab have been found in the New York World Telegram & Sun Collection and in the Historic American Building Survey.

4 DVDs and 7 VHS cassettes were transferred to the Moving Image Research Center. Separation notices and surrogate images of the covers of the audio visual materials have been placed in the relevant folder in the collection.

A limited amount of correspondence between the Korab studio and the office of Mies van der Rohe can be found in the Manuscript Division.

The photography of Balthazar Korab has been used in publications and presentations across the globe. A more comprehensive bibliography is available upon request, and significant sources are cited in the monograph by John Comazzi.

Items from the "Eero Saarinen book project, 2005-2008" were published in, Eero Saarinen: Buildings from the Balthazar Korab Archive, edited by David G. De Long and C. Ford Peatross. The book was published in 2008 by Norton / Library of Congress as part of the Visual Sourcebooks in Architecture, Design, and Engineering series.
