Late Antiquity: A Resource Guide

Electronic Resources

The subscription resources marked with a padlock are available to researchers on-site at the Library of Congress. If you are unable to visit the Library, you may be able to access these resources through your local public or academic library.

Links in the freely accessible volumes tab are available online without restriction.

The resources listed here are 19th and early 20th century editions of Greek and Latin texts from antiquity and the middle ages. The edited texts of some Latin and Greek works included in these volumes constitute the only modern edition of those texts. These volumes are freely accessible since they are now in the public domain.
