Colorado has a bicameral legislature, the Colorado General Assembly, which consists of the Colorado House of Representatives and the Colorado Senate. The House has 65 members representing 65 districts, with members serving a two-year term. Representatives are limited to four consecutive terms, with no lifetime limit. The Senate has 35 members representing 35 districts, each serving a four-year term; Senators are limited to two consecutive terms, with no lifetime limit.
