Michigan has a bicameral legislature, named the Michigan Legislature, which consists of the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate. The House has 110 members representing 110 districts, with members serving a two-year term. The Senate has 38 members representing 38 districts, each serving a four-year term. Members of the Michigan Legislature can serve up to three terms in the House, and up to two terms in the Senate.
