A web archive is a method of archiving specific websites in order to ensure that the content and information on those sites is preserved. Many libraries, including the Library of Congress, have begun this process to preserve some of the ever-increasing information on the internet. You can learn more about the Library of Congress's program at this link: Library of Congress Web Archiving. Music Division staff have curated the following highlighted web archives, which include material relevant to the LGBTQ+ community. There is also a Library-wide web archive devoted to LGBTQ+ studies.
