Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text (FTLI) is the definitive online tool for film and television research. It is a comprehensive bibliographic and full-text database covering the entire spectrum of television and film. Subject coverage includes film & television theory, preservation & restoration, screenwriting, production, cinematography, technical aspects, and reviews. The database provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 380 publications (and selected coverage of 300), as well as full text for more than 120 journals, and 100 books. Included are journals such as: Film Journal International, Journal of British Cinema & Television, Film Criticism, Post Script, Variety, as well as technical publications such as SMPTE. Mirroring the international film & television industries and cultures, FTLI also includes publications such as Cahiers du Cinema, Filmihullu, SegnoCinema and Kinetoscopio. In addition, FTLI includes Variety movie reviews from 1914 to present and over 36,300 images from the MPTV Image Archive.

BiBnet (formerly Television Programming Source Books) is a fully searchable database of more than 200,000 television programs and film listings. Listing Information includes: title, year produced, runtime, synopsis, cast, country of origin, licensing and acquisition details, rights and royalities tracking. Ninety percent of the listing information is supplied directly from the distributors and/or producers. The rest is from various industry sources such as Nielsen Media Research and TV Guide. Television genres include: Drama, Comedy, Action/Adventure, Mystery/Horror, Animation, Family/Children, Sci-Fi, Thriller/Suspense. The Films section includes theatrical features, made-for-television movies and direct-to-video movies. Anything that does not fall into those categories is in the Series section, including specials, documentaries, mini-series and sports programming.

The International Index to Film Periodicals contains over 500,000 article citations from more than 345 periodicals. It offers in-depth coverage of the world's foremost academic and popular film journals. Each entry consists of a full bibliographic description, an abstract and comprehensive headings (biographical names, film titles and general subjects). It is also the only database offering film periodical indexing using a hierarchically ordered controlled thesaurus with more than 20,000 subject terms. The index contains comprehensive television periodical indexing until 2000 and TV related articles from film periodicals continue to be indexed.

Variety, a magazine for the entertainment industry, covers the worldwide media and entertainment marketplace and features the most current entertainment news, box office reports, and film and television production charts. 104 years of Variety and Daily Variety are now digitally available, allowing users to conveniently trace the history of the entertainment business and its biggest players. The weekly edition of Variety began publication December 16, 1905, while Daily Variety began September 6, 1933. Archived issues for Variety (weekly) begin March 18, 1906, however, the issues for March 29, 1932-June 14, 1932 are missing. Daily Variety is archived in its entirety. Variety and Daily Variety continue to be updated with new content. Issues for both appear in the Archives about a week after their publication dates.
