Code Talkers Recognition Act of 2008. Pub. L. 110–420, Oct. 15, 2008, 122 Stat. 4774 , recognizing Native American code talkers.
Recognized the contributions of code talkers from thirteen other Native American nations: Assiniboine, Chippewa and Oneida, Choctaw, Comanche, Cree, Crow, Hopi, Kiowa, Menominee, Mississauga, Muscogee, Sac and Fox, and Sioux.
Authorizing Use of Emancipation Hall for Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony for Native American Code Talkers
The Congressional Gold Medal was awarded to 33 tribes in honor of their Code Talkers on November 20, 2013.
Special Order, December 7, 2011
This Special Order honoring the Navajo Code Talkers was read on the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, while Chester Nez (AFC/2001/001/54891) and Samuel Holiday (AFC/2001/001/52527) were guests of Congress. This Special Order also includes a list of all verified Code Talkers, though it should be noted that the Marine Corps has not been able to produce a definitive roster of all who served as Code Talkers.
