Polish-American Relations, 1918 to Present: Manuscript Resources at the Library of Congress


Collections of relevance to Polish-American relations among the Manuscript Division's holdings include the papers of American presidents, secretaries of state, diplomats, and other cultural figures.

The collections presented in this guide are organized into four chronological categories. Please note that some collections span multiple time periods and may appear listed more than once.

Researchers may find related visual materials in the Prints and Photographs Division, as well. In some instances, the visual materials from Manuscript Division collections have been transferred to the Prints and Photographs Division. In this case, researchers should contact Prints and Photographs Division staff for questions regarding access and use. Researchers should keep in mind that collections may be restricted and may only be accessible onsite. In some cases, an appointment may be necessary to view material.
