The term engineering refers to any number of fields including, but not limited to, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, and many, many more.  The following resources offer images related to the subjects of engineering.

  • Architect of the Capitol (AOC)
    Contains thousands of images of current projects, historic sketches, and more. These items can be accessed through their Flickr or Instagram accounts and there is a link to video resources via their YouTube account.
  • Bureau of Reclamation Photography and Engineering Drawings Collections
    The digital images are limited and do not feature a search function or any filters. Most of the more than 500,000 images are housed at the National Archives and Records Administration offices in Washington DC and Denver, Colorado. Images are also available at the Bureau’s regional offices around the country and at Archives II in College Park, Maryland.
