Because research on music for television requires an interdisciplinary approach of both aural and visual studies, relevant books can be found under many different call number and class schedules.
There are four primary classes in the ML schedule for books about music in television:

All titles with call numbers beginning with subclass ML are housed in the Performing Arts Reading Room. All titles with call numbers beginning with subclasses PN or Z are housed in the Main Reading Room of the Thomas Jefferson Building.
