In a MARC record, terms from TGM II are to be entered in subfield "a" of field 655. Terms which do not appear in TGM II or other thesauri approved for 655 may not be used in this field. The thesaurus code (gmgpc) must be entered in subfield "2". Even though the name of the thesaurus has been changed, the same code gmgpc, which refers to graphic materials genre and physical characteristics, should be used.
