Genre and format terms from the Thesaurus for Graphic Materials are available for downloading in two formats:

TGM (Genre/format terms) [text file, approx. 500 kb]
This unformatted ASCII file is most useful for importing TGM into other systems. Each term is tagged according to its role in the thesaurus. Updated quarterly.
TGM [XML file, approx. 600 kb]
Formatted in a fully-featured XML file suitable for use to interact/interop with other systems. Updated quarterly.
