Owen J. Roberts Correspondence

Three volumes consisting of correspondence and memoranda relating to Roberts's service on the U.S. Supreme Court. Two volumes include correspondence and memoranda congratulating him on his appointment in 1930. Volume three pertains to Roberts's resignation from the Supreme Court in 1945 and includes facsimiles of his letter of resignation to President Harry S. Truman and the president's letter of response accepting Roberts's resignation.
