Since the 1970s, Camilo Vergara has used photographs to track changes in urban environments over time. Revisiting the same sites over several decades, Vergara has produced series of time lapse images, each of which illustrates changes, both subtle and dramatic, in the environmental, economic, and living conditions of various neighborhoods and city blocks.
