National World War II Reunion and the Veterans History Project

Images from the VHP Pavilion

The Veterans History Project had a large pavilion located on the National Mall which served two purposes: to provide an indoor space to register veterans and capture their stories, and, a venue for the presentation of many programs and panels. Throughout the weekend, the Veterans History Project pavilion presented a series of compelling accounts about a variety of topics, including POWs, Tuskegee Airmen, Code Talkers, Women in Wartime, and D-Day veterans. The photos in this gallery present many scenes from in and around the VHP Pavilion.
