In addition to holding one of the card catalogs for the Yudin collection, the European Reading Room has a large selection of pamphlets from the collection. A pamphlet is defined as a monograph of 50 pages or less. The pamphlets cover a range of genres, including short stories, one-act plays, offset articles, government publications and scientific studies. The pamphlets are stored in archival boxes in the European Reading Room. They are divided into two groups chronologically according to the date of publication: pre-1864 and post-1865. A portion of the pamphlets are cataloged and can be searched in the Library of Congress Online Catalog using the term "Early Russian Pamphlets." The pamphlets are available for browsing upon request in the European Reading Room. Below are a few examples from the collection.
