It is estimated that the Rare Book & Special Collections Division has approximately 4,800 items from the Yudin collection. The following list represents a select number of Yudin items held in the division. The items can be viewed upon request in the Rare Book & Special Collections Reading Room. A rare first edition of Aleksandr Radishchev's classic novel which advocates for the abolition of serfdom. The novel was banned shortly after its publication and would not be reprinted freely in Russia until 1905. Only 13 copies of this edition are known to have survived. The first published edition of the famous medieval epic poem "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" (Slovo o polu Igoreve). This is one of the few copies that survived the great Moscow fire of 1812.

This item belonged to the Decembrist, Aleksandr IAkubovich. Because of his participation in the 1825 Decembrist revolt, IAkubovich was exiled to Eniseisk, Siberia. The item includes inscriptions made by IAkubovich, including a confession of his crimes.
